Design
This pack of SAS A340 original aircraft skin tags includes 11 different color combinations. Our aviation artist designed a special pattern to commemorate SAS's A340.
On this plane skin tag, a SAS Scandinavian Airlines Airbus A340 is holding short of the runway while another SAS A340 is departing.
Can you guess which airport it is?
If you look closely, we design an airport sign on the tag. It says A5|22R. This sign, located next to the taxiway of Copenhagen Airport, means the aircraft is on Taxiway A5 and holding short of runway 22R.

Where this tag was cut from?
This Airbus A340 original plane tag was cut from the fuselage of SAS Airbus A340 OY-KBD. Precisely, the cut was from the area where Scandinavian flags were painted on this aircraft. We were able to preserve this section of the fuselage and manufacture a limited number of original aircraft skin tag that carries aviation history.
Aircraft Type: Airbus A340-8300
Registration: OY-KBD
Owner: SAS Scandinavian Airlines
Highlights of the aircraft:
This aircraft is extremely unique in SAS Scandinavian's fleet. Thus, this plane skin tag is a must-have collection.
► This aircraft operated the last SAS A340 regular flight in 2020 (excluding retirement/farewell flight)
► SAS's last A340 was acquired directly from Airbus
► Youngest A340 in the SAS fleet
Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) had a total of eight A340-300s, most of which were retired at the end of 2020. SAS A340s had more than 60,000 round-trip flights during 20 years of service, linking Scandinavia with the Far East and North America.
Named Toste Viking, this A340 was delivered in 2002. It was the last SAS A340 that was acquired directly from Airbus and the youngest A340 member in the SAS fleet.
The aircraft flew to Arizona, USA in November 2020 and was disassembled for parts. We were able to preserve some of the skin cuts and manufacture a limited number of original aircraft skin tags that you are holding right now.
Thank you for being a part of aviation history.

* Important – Please Read Carefully Before Making Purchase
Our aviation luggage tags are made from skins of plane fuselage, not stamped metal. Each luggage tag is unique - color, thickness, wear and tear may differ from one piece to another piece. We did our best to craft and clean each tag by hand carefully, however, some scratches on the surface of the tag are inevitable due to age of those airplanes. These variations and imperfections are not product flaws. Rather, they are the history and story of the airplane and this Aviator’s Story will continue as a luggage tag. Keep away from children's reach. Be cautious that the edge of this product may be sharp and may cause wound on skin. Keep out of mouth.
