Where this plane tag was cut from? 

This Boeing 757 original plane tag was cut from the fuselage of Boeing 757-200 with registration number B-2830. Precisely, the section was cut from the forward section of the aircraft. The section was entirely removed for cargo aircraft conversion. We were able to preserve this section of fuselage and manufacture limited number of original aircraft skin tag that carries aviation history.

This Boeing 757-200 plane was delivered to China Xinjiang Airlines in 2002. It was the last aircraft Xinjiang Airlines acquired before the airline was absorbed by China Southern Airlines in late 2002 to 2003.

The aircraft retired from China Southern in 2017 and was converted to 757-200 cargo plane after the retirement. YTO Cargo Airlines was the operator when the tag was manufactured.

During the passenger-to-cargo conversion, a large section of fuselage was removed so the new cargo door could be installed. We were able to preserve the fuselage which was removed and manufacture original aircraft skin tag that you are holding right now - a piece of aviation history.
