Aircraft History

Aircraft Type: Boeing 757-200

Registration: N904NV

Owner: Allegiant Air

Delivered in 1993, this Boeing 757-200 (MSN 26967) was a part of the leisure travel history in the UK and USA where it brought many Brits and Americans to their holiday destinations.

Registered as G-BYAI, the aircraft was operated by Britannia Airways, then the world's largest holiday airline, between 1993 and 2004. In the 2000s, Thomson Travel Group, and thereby Britannia Airways, were acquired by TUI Group of Germany. As a part of the reorganization of TUI's UK operations, the aircraft was transferred to Thomsonfly and later Thomson Airways.

After retired from TUI group, the aircraft was taken up by Allegiant Air and leased to Jet2, a UK-based leisure airline, under the plane-sharing agreement between 2011 and 2012. During this period of time, the aircraft carried an Allegiant Air livery and Jet2 title on the plane.

This Boeing 757 was operated by Allegiant from 2012 to 2015 and was parted out in the United States after retirement. We were able to preserve some of the skin cuts and manufacture a limited number of original aircraft skin tags that you are holding right now.

About Allegiant and Boeing 757

Allegiant Air introduced the Boeing 757 into service from their main hub in Las Vegas (KLAS) in September 2011. Historically, Allegiant had a total of six B757-200s, all in a 217-seat configuration. These Boeing 757s were all previously used by UK charter operator Britannia Airways, which later changed its name to Thomson Airways and eventually TUI.

The reason Allegiant acquired the 757 fleet is because of the Hawaii routes. In 2012, Allegiant began using Boeing 757s on its mainland United States and Hawaii route. Allegiant’s Boeing 757 nonstop service to Honolulu included Las Vegas, Bellingham, Boise, Eugene, Phoenix-Mesa Gateway, Santa Maria, Spokane, and Stockton.

For Allegiant, the paradise routes (Hawaii) was a complicated, costly, and ultimately short-lived experiment. Rather than perform the costly comprehensive D checks on their aging 757s, Allegiant eventually retired all Boeing 757 jetliners and ceased Hawaii operation in October 2017.

Note

Due to the value and weight of this item, we strongly recommend you select DHL EXPRESS as the shipping method.

This product is a specially handcrafted item. The edge may be sharp and rough. It may cause skin wound. Keep away from children's reach.

Each product is unique - color, thickness, and wear may differ from one piece to another piece. We did our best to craft and clean each item by hand carefully, however, some scratches on the surface of the product are inevitable due to the age of those airplanes. These variations and imperfections are not product flaws. Rather, they are the history and story of the airplane and this Aviator’s Story will continue as an art piece.
