Where this plane tag was cut from?
This original plane skin tag was cut from the fuselage of Boeing 747-400 with registration number B-HUJ. Specifically, the section was cut from the forward section of the aircraft fuselage. We were able to preserve this section of the fuselage and manufacture a limited number of original aircraft skin tag that carries aviation history.
Aircraft Type: Boeing 747-400
Registration: B-HUJ
Previous Owner: Cathay Pacific Airways
First entered the Cathay Pacific fleet in 1979, Boeing 747 witnessed rapid growth in Cathay Pacific and Hong Kong.
On October 8, 2016, to mark its retirement from passenger service, Cathay Pacific last Boeing 747-400 with registration number B-HUJ, operating as Cathay Pacific flight 8747, flew over Victoria Harbor, providing members of the Hong Kong public with a final opportunity to say goodbye.
This aircraft was dismantled and recycled in 2017. Luckily, we were able to preserve part of the aircraft skin and give this legendary aircraft a whole new life by handcrafting a limited 3000 pieces of this precious luggage tag.
You are now carrying a piece of history of Cathay Pacific Airways and Boeing 747, “Queen of the Skies”.
* Important – Please Read Carefully Before Making Purchase
Our aviation luggage tags are made from skins of plane fuselage, not stamped metal. Each luggage tag is unique - color, thickness, wear and tear may differ from one piece to another piece. We did our best to craft and clean each tag by hand carefully, however, some scratches on the surface of the tag are inevitable due to age of those airplanes. These variations and imperfections are not product flaws. Rather, they are the history and story of the airplane and this Aviator’s Story will continue as a luggage tag. Keep away from children's reach. Be cautious that the edge of this product may be sharp and may cause wound on skin. Keep out of mouth.
